No one should be ashamed of braces! The decision of correcting one’s crooked teeth with braces defines the person as thoughtful and responsible. The perhaps rare negative comments one can receive on braces are usually from people who make a decision in accordance with unwritten aesthetic expectations of society.
No one with braces should forget that braces are the most honest accessories of the responsible person’s smile! Wearing braces is a statement not because its colour or shape, but because we can say that nowadays the positive personal traits of being responsible and patient are rare in our societies.
However, in some cases invisible braces are more reasonable than traditional ones. For instance, many parents can not make their children understand the aforementioned statements. Or, a kind of unforgiving and superficial social environment might exist where hidden invisible braces are the only acceptable ones. Of course, a solution is available to this need!
When the pretty accessory becomes invisible: invisible braces
In our dental clinic, we work with several types of braces that are invisible.
There are removable devices that only need to be worn at night, consequently those are invisible during the day. And, there are invisible removable devices that need to be worn during the day and night.
In addition, there are fixed invisible braces. These braces, the Incognito lingual braces are fixed to the inner surface of the teeth. We introduce you the brand Incognito Appliance System in more detail below.
Invisible braces
The method of the Incognito Appliance System is very simple. The brackets are attached to the inner surface of the teeth, therefore the braces are completely invisible. That’s it!
In addition, this method is suitable for all orthodontic conditions. The treatment itself might be simple or more complex with the help of computer-aided design. Your orthodontist informs you in time about the course of the treatment and prepares the braces according to the needs.
In the video below, Dr. Péter Márton Steinhof, the orthodontist of Saint Lucas SPA Dental, describes the process.
Incognito braces are currently the most advanced customized lingual braces on the market.
The brackets and tubes of the Incognito braces are made of gold. They are smaller and more comfortable than their predecessors, easier to get used to and wear, and easy to keep clean.
State-of-the-art technology for the perfect smile
Since the correct positioning of the brackets is very important, the lingual braces are attached to the teeth by so-called indirect bonding. Based on the mould of the teeth made by the orthodontist, the precise positions of the brackets are set in the dental lab. Then, the brackets are attached to the teeth with the help of a silicone tray. As this short introduction suggests, indirect bonding is a special procedure. The final braces are completely customised.
