Dental implant procedure is longer and more complex than other dental treatments. We show you what steps, from the first consultation to your new wide smile, you can expect. There are only 8 steps indeed.
The entire dental implant procedure in 8 steps:
As part of a free consultation, our dental implant experts examine you to determine if your missing teeth can or cannot be replaced with dental implant by computer-aided dental implant planning procedure. You can request an appointment with Dr. Tamás Ruszin and Dr. Róbert Nagy by calling (+36) 30 78 00 454.
If the consultation is successful, meaning that computer-aided dental implant planning procedure is the best tooth replacement option for you, a special 3D CT scan is taken of you in an external CT scan centre.
Based on the CT scans, your dental implant specialist uses a software to plan the exact location of the dental implants and the necessary thickness and length of the implants in order to achieve perfect stability and durability.
All the required information is transmitted electronically to a specialized lab that uses a 3D software to produce your personalized surgical template.
During the surgery, the surgical template is placed into your mouth. With the help of the template, the dental implant specialist prepares the place in the jawbone for the implants with minimal intervention (drilling).
The first part of the procedure is done as the dental implants with the required thickness and length are placed into the prepared holes. (Unlike the traditional surgical procedure, there is no need for stitches after the operation, as the gums are not cut.)
The first part is followed by the healing period, which is much faster than after a traditional dental surgery. (Obviously, slightly different in every case.)
After the healing period, the dental implant specialist finishes the procedure by placing a natural looking porcelain crown on the dental implant.
After the procedure is completed, you can enjoy the benefits of undisturbed chewing and flawless smile.
